Beta testing and feedback exchange for app developers

Let your app be heard.

Try another developer's app and tell them, kindly and honestly, what worked and what didn't. Then someone does the same for yours.

Friends say “looks great.”

Nice to hear. No idea what to fix.

Strangers just close the app.

Not a word about what went wrong.

On Asolo, you hear the truth.

Kindly, specifically, and in return.

Everything a good review needs. And nothing it doesn't.

Tasks, then the truth.

Reviewers complete the developer's tasks, report on each one, then say what worked and what didn't. Tokens are earned only when every task is done.

What I didn't like

The reminder screen asks for notification access before explaining why. I said no, then couldn't find how to turn it back on.

Give one. Get one.

An accepted review earns a token. A token puts your app in the queue.

Fair by design.

A review can be sent back once, with a reason. After 7 days it's accepted automatically.

Private by default.

Only you and the developer see the text. Everyone else sees an average.

iOS, Android, web.

The real problem

Silence is the costliest feedback.

You spend months building. Launch day comes, a handful of people install, and then nothing. No bug reports, no complaints, no clue what went wrong. Asolo turns that silence into specific answers before you launch.

Three steps. Then repeat.

  1. 1

    Pick an app

Choose an app from the queue and complete the tasks its developer listed.

  2. 2

    Say what you think

Write what you liked and what you didn't. Add screenshots if they help.

  3. 3

    Spend your token

When your review is accepted you earn a token. Spend it to get your own app reviewed.

Not a developer?

Test new apps. Build a portfolio.

Try apps before everyone else, complete clear tasks, and collect reviews that developers rate. Your public profile shows the work.

Guides for app makers. Practical, no fluff.

Questions developers ask

What is Asolo?

Asolo is a feedback exchange for app developers. You test another developer's app by completing the tasks they set, write what worked and what didn't, and earn a token. A token gets your own app tested the same way.

How do I find beta testers for my app?

Add your app (an App Store, Google Play, TestFlight, or web link), list one to five tasks, and spend a token to join the queue. Developers and testers on Asolo pick it up, complete every task, and report on each one.

Is Asolo free?

Yes. You get one token when you sign up and earn more by reviewing other apps. There's nothing to pay to start.

Can I use Asolo for Google Play's 12-tester closed test?

Asolo reviewers try your app and report on your tasks, which helps you find people who actually use it. Google's rule needs at least 12 testers opted in to your closed test for 14 days in a row, so ask the people you meet here whether they'll stay opted in, and keep inviting until you have a buffer.

I'm not a developer. Can I test apps?

Yes. Join as a tester, try new apps before everyone else, and build a public portfolio with your reviews, completed tasks, and the usefulness scores developers give you.
